Children benefit enormously from
playing basketball, developing valuable ball skills and coordination
while learning team cooperation. MultiSport's Basketball programme
will focus on teaching the rules of the game, introducing and
developing skills and drills while building children's confidence
and fitness in a fun non pressure environment.
Ages 5&6: 45 mins
Students will be introduced to Basketball through fun games
and age specific equipment. The programme will develop the children's
movement patterns, hand-eye coordination and self confidence.
All basic basketball skills and rules will be covered.
Ages 7- 9: 45 mins
More advanced basketball skills are introduced therefore developing
the fundamental techniques of shooting, passing, ball control
and defense allowing students to enhance and express individual
skills. These skills will then be adapted to team specific and
modified non pressure games. |

Ages
10-12: 1 hour
Skills are further enhanced through challenging drills and
modified matches with a focus on team tactics, patterns
of play and specific use of personal skills.
Ages 13+ 1 hour
Skills are further developed with a more intensive approach
to the game with thorough drills and match play situations.
A reasonable level of fitness is required
